Gildas Orillard was born in France in the Brittany Region. At 18 years old he moved to Paris where he worked for over 10 years at the top rated salons at that time. In particular he worked for Franck Provost Salon where he flourished in his knowledge of color, cutting and up-do’s. From there Gildas moved to several different salons including Jacque Dessange, Maniatis, and free-lance.

In 2002 and 2003 Gildas was traveling for work in London, Nice and Cannes all for work at prestigious hotels and salons. In 2004 Gildas decided to take his talent to Mexico in the cities of Guadalajara at Salon Patrice Mulard, Mexico DF, and Merida, Yucatan at Salon Jacque Dessanges.

After learning the language and culture of Mexico, Gildas decided to see what impact he could make in the United States and he moved to Chicago and Miami. He has worked at Mon Ami Coiffeur, Jacque Dessange, Taylor Reese Salon on Oak Street and now Agnes O Salon.

Gildas had an extensive 5 year education in studying hair cutting, styling, and color. He is continuously learning new techniques and bringing ideas of the best products to the salons where he is practicing. He welcomes new clients and is always excited to bring his best to help you look your best! Gildas specializes in: Color, Cut, Blow Dry, Up do’s, and extensions. He is prolific in working with hair color in different cutomers and what their skin and hair can take. His up-do’s for night time events make you feel special.

I come from a family of hairdressers – my two sisters, who live in the Netherlands, are also hair dressers. Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve wanted to do hair. I’ve been working in Chicago as a professional hair dresser for over 22 years. Previously I worked for a Gold Coast salon for 22 years and Harpo Studios for 14 years. While at Harpo, I provided both employees and guests of the Oprah Winfrey Show color and cuts in their spa.

Rochelle has been in the hair industry for over 30 years, and still loves what she does. She has developed a personalized approach to hairstyling which allows clients to achieve the look they want. Rochelle puts your considerations first. She makes sure you can recreate the look at home with little effort and time.
